LVP & Waterproof Plank
Luxury vinyl plank has a waterproof wear layer, so it suits basements, kitchens and rentals. We lay it flat and tight over a prepped subfloor.
Laminate
Costs less than wood and takes daily wear. We lay it with proper expansion gaps and clean transitions so it does not buckle or gap on you later.
Engineered & Hardwood
Real wood installed level and quiet, with tight transitions and matched trim. Refinish-ready when the time comes.

Every one of these starts below the surface you walk on. That's why the old floor comes up and we look at the subfloor before anyone orders a plank, board or tile.
Squeaky, Soft Subfloor
Bouncy or noisy floors usually mean a loose or water-softened subfloor. We re-secure or replace it before laying the new surface, so the squeak is gone for good.
Water-Damaged & Cupping Boards
Leaks warp wood and lift laminate. We find the moisture source, dry it out, and replace the damaged run to match the rest of the room.
Cracked or Loose Tile
Tile cracks when the substrate flexes. We fix the movement underneath, then re-set and re-grout so it stays flat and sealed.
Flooring on its own, and at the end of other jobs
Flooring is one of the four kinds of work we're built around. We take it on as a job by itself, and we lay the floor at the end of our rebuilds and commercial jobs, so the floor after a leak or a build-out comes from us too.

What the DC Year Does to Floors
DC summers are humid and May, June and July are usually the wettest months. Wood takes on that moisture and gives it up again when the heat comes on, and basement slabs carry it up from below.
