Carpet Installation and Replacement Across MD, DC and Northern Virginia
Carpet is still the right floor for bedrooms, stairs, basements that stay dry and offices that need quiet. Installed with the right pad, stretched tight and seamed where you will not walk on it, it lasts. One crew removes the old carpet, checks the subfloor and installs the new.
Carpet Services We Offer
Residential carpet in bedrooms, stairs and basements, and commercial broadloom and carpet tile in offices and common areas. Replacement between tenants is a large part of what we do.
- Carpet installation in bedrooms, living areas and basements
- Stairs and landings
- Rental unit carpet replacement
- Commercial carpet and carpet tile
- Old carpet, pad and tack strip removal
- Carpet repair, restretching and seam repair
Whole-Room Installation
New pad and tack strip, carpet power-stretched to the walls, seams placed under furniture or along the wall rather than across a doorway. Tight at the edges and flat in the middle.
Stairs and Landings
Waterfall or wrapped-nose stairs, each tread stretched and fastened on its own. Stairs are where loose carpet becomes a fall risk, so they get the most attention.
Rental Carpet Replacement
Between tenants, the old carpet and pad come out, the subfloor is checked for stains and odour, and the new carpet goes in on the turnover schedule. One carpet standard across a portfolio keeps it simple.
Commercial Carpet and Carpet Tile
Glue-down broadloom and carpet tile for offices, corridors and amenity rooms, installed after hours where the building requires it. Tile lets a stained square be swapped rather than the room replaced.
Removal and Disposal
Old carpet, pad, tack strip and staples out, floor swept and inspected. If the subfloor is stained or soft, you hear about it before new carpet covers it.
Repair and Restretch
Ripples and bubbles restretched, open seams rejoined, burns and stains patched from a remnant. Often the right call for carpet that is otherwise in good shape.
Why the Install Matters More Than the Carpet
Two rooms can get the same carpet and one will ripple in a year. The difference is the pad, the stretch and where the seams went.
Power-Stretched, Not Kicked In
Carpet stretched with a power stretcher stays flat. Carpet kicked in at the edges ripples as soon as the room warms up. We stretch every room properly.
Subfloor Checked Before It Is Covered
Pet stains, soft spots and squeaks are dealt with while the floor is bare. Covering a problem with new carpet buys you the same problem plus a new carpet to pull up.

Carpet Problems We Get Called About
What goes wrong with carpet, and what the honest fix is.
Ripples and Bubbles
Carpet that was not stretched properly, or pad that broke down, loosens and ripples. Restretching fixes it if the carpet is sound. If the backing has delaminated, it is time to replace.
Odour That Cleaning Does Not Remove
Pet urine and flooding soak the pad and often the subfloor. New carpet over a contaminated subfloor smells in a month. We treat or seal the subfloor, or replace the damaged section, before the new pad goes down.
Seams Opening in a Doorway
A seam placed across a traffic lane gets walked apart. We plan seams along walls and under furniture, which sometimes costs a little more carpet and saves the floor.
