Luxury Vinyl Plank Flooring Installation Across MD, DC and Northern Virginia

Luxury vinyl plank is the floor we install most in basements, kitchens, rentals and commercial space, because it is waterproof, quiet and forgiving of real life. It is only as good as the subfloor under it, so the prep is where the job is won. One crew handles removal, prep, install and trim.

LVP Installation Services

Floating click-lock, glue-down and rigid-core plank, in homes, rental units and commercial interiors. We check the slab or subfloor first, then recommend the product and method that will hold up in that room.

  • Floating click-lock LVP installation
  • Glue-down LVP for commercial and high-traffic space
  • Rigid core and WPC/SPC plank
  • Old floor removal and disposal
  • Subfloor levelling, moisture testing and prep
  • Transitions, stair nosing and trim

Click-Lock Floating LVP

The standard for homes and rentals. Laid over a flat subfloor with the right underlayment and expansion gap, so it does not peak at the seams or gap at the walls a season later.

Glue-Down LVP

For commercial space, rolling loads and rooms where a plank may need to be replaced on its own. Each piece bonds to the floor, so one damaged plank is a one-plank repair.

Rigid Core Plank

SPC and WPC cores bridge small subfloor imperfections and resist dents from furniture and appliances. The right call over an older slab or an uneven plywood subfloor.

Removal and Disposal

Carpet, pad, tack strip, old vinyl and glue residue removed and hauled away. What is under the old floor decides what goes down next, so we look before we order.

Subfloor and Moisture Prep

Moisture readings on concrete slabs, levelling compound where the floor is out of tolerance, loose plywood re-secured. Skipping this is why new floors fail early.

Transitions, Stairs and Trim

Matched transitions at doorways and at height changes, stair nosing where plank meets a step, and baseboard or quarter-round reinstalled or replaced to a clean line.

Why LVP, and Why Have Us Install It

LVP forgives a lot of what happens in a house or a rental. It does not forgive a bad subfloor or a rushed layout, and that is the part we are careful about.

We Check the Floor Under the Floor

Moisture, flatness and soft spots get tested and fixed before plank is ordered. The written price covers that prep, so there is no surprise on install day.

One Crew, Start to Finish

Removal, prep, install, transitions and trim from the same people. The baseboard goes back on the same week the floor goes down.

Licensed, Bonded & Insured

Maryland Home Improvement Contractor License No. 420226000078. Bonded and insured in MD, DC and VA, with liability coverage on every job.

Written Flat Price

Material, removal, prep, install and trim on one written number before we start. Room sizes and the product you pick decide it, not the day of the week.

Why LVP Floors Fail, and How We Avoid It

The problems we get called to fix on floors somebody else installed.

Common Problem

Peaking and Gapping at the Seams

A floating floor laid tight to the walls or over a subfloor that was not flat has nowhere to move. It peaks in summer and gaps in winter. The fix is the right expansion gap and a flat subfloor, which is how we install it the first time.

Common Problem

Lifting on a Damp Slab

LVP is waterproof, but adhesive and underlayment are not immune to moisture coming up through concrete. We take readings before choosing the method and the vapor barrier, especially in basements.

Common Problem

Transitions That Catch Your Foot

A floor that looks right until it meets the hallway was not laid out. Height differences between rooms and materials are planned before the first plank goes down.

LVP Flooring Questions We Get Asked

How much does LVP flooring cost to install?

⌄
It is priced by the room sizes, the plank you choose, what has to be removed and how much subfloor prep the floor needs. We do not publish a per-square-foot rate because prep varies so much between a flat new slab and a 1950s basement. You get a written price that covers all of it before we start.

Can LVP go in a basement?

⌄
Yes, and it is the floor we recommend most for basements. We test the slab for moisture first and choose the underlayment or vapor barrier the readings call for.

Floating or glue-down?

⌄
Floating click-lock for most homes and rentals. Glue-down for commercial space, rolling loads and anywhere a single plank may need replacing on its own. We recommend one based on the room.

Do you remove the old flooring?

⌄
Yes. Carpet, pad, tack strip, old vinyl and adhesive residue are removed and hauled away, and the price includes it.
