Kitchen Remodel: Sink Run, Island and New Flooring
A kitchen reworked around a new sink run under the window and a quartz-topped island, with the dishwasher, faucet and flooring all set as part of the same job.
What the job had to solve
Moving a sink run means moving supply and drain lines, and an island means getting services out to the middle of the floor. Both have to be right before the counters are templated, because nothing about a quartz top is adjustable afterwards.

How the work ran
- 1Confirm the layout and where services need to land, then rough in.
- 2Repair and finish the walls before cabinets go on them.
- 3Set the cabinet runs level, then template the counters off the installed cabinets.
- 4Install the counters, set the sink and faucet, and connect the appliances.
- 5Trim out, touch up the paint and lay the flooring.
