How fast can you come out and start?
For an emergency, we respond within 24 to 48 hours. For ordinary work, most repairs can be priced from photos within a day or two and scheduled from there. What sets the start date is usually material lead time and permits rather than crew availability.
Estimates
A lot of repair work can be priced from clear photographs and a description, which means you get a written number without waiting for a site visit. Send a wide shot and a close-up of the damage, and say what caused it if you know.
Larger and multi-trade projects need someone on site, because a scope written from photographs of a whole house is a scope with surprises in it.
Emergencies work differently
Water, fire, storm and roofing emergencies get triaged rather than scheduled. Response is within 24 to 48 hours, and dispatch depends on location, conditions, access and crew availability at that moment.
Call rather than using the form for anything active. Say the property address, what is happening, and whether anyone is at risk or the building is open to weather.
What actually delays a start
Permits and inspections, which run on the county timetable rather than ours. Long lead materials such as cabinets, doors, windows and some flooring. Decisions still open, particularly finish selections. Another trade that has not finished.
Crew availability is rarely the constraint. We schedule in windows and tell you which of the above is holding a date rather than giving you one we cannot keep.
