An unfinished Upper Marlboro basement became a full in-law suite with a bedroom, bath, and living area, every trade included.
+900 sq ft
Livable space added
The homeowners wanted to convert a bare basement into a self-contained in-law suite, including egress, a full bathroom, and a small kitchenette, a project spanning many trades.
We framed the layout, added an egress window, and coordinated plumbing and electrical rough-ins before insulation, drywall, flooring, trim, and paint. The finished suite reads like part of the original home, not an add-on.
The family gained roughly 900 square feet of finished, livable space and a private suite for a relative, delivered as one managed project rather than a string of separate trades.
